A sanctuary guarded by the darkest of hearts
A fortress torn open by the greed of man
Bred of illusion and broken of mind
Deluded of spirit and corrupted of sight
To traitors limb and restless horde
Loss of path cannot afford
Caught within the branches
The path before the end
This trespass upon hollow ground
Shall not go unresolved
A haven sought in stagnant sedation
A mirage proclaimed as norm

A victim of fallacy and need

To the gates of questioning we fly
In the visions of a paradise we lie
Counteract the residue of time
Turn the tides against the waves
Sing, Save; realise the condition; Breathe, Search
Between the lines of apathy and ignorance
March the constituents of reason and hope

Breathe and become the mist

Relight the halls and feed on our ghosts
Become the leech in the west and the king in the sand

Struggling with the rules of continuous presence
An new solution must be reached
if the balance is to be restored

Proved his absolution wrong
They stole divining light
To continue on I'll find another one
They drove the spirit out of me
Painted lies upon the walls
Lost among the nonbelievers
I'll forge another path
With modern means and arcane scrolls
I'll form a new apparition to dissolve
The lies in which 'progress' forms
And throws away tradition
Among the wires and circuitry
I'll rediscover meaning
Bring new life into the world
let it claim it as dominion
The apparition came forth
into the contorted world
It grasped at its surroundings
born into reality once more
Lord and master do excuse,
your humble servants foolish thoughts
Confined to pixelated screens, I cannot share your pain
